I waited, like an idiot, until 11:35, when the guy who was there called the other technician, and he said that he got a flat tire and wouldnt be in today. Anyways, the technician that was there called the other guy, who said he was 35 minutes away at 11 AM. So I said I will wait the entire hour it takes to get the phone fixed, WITH the password on. Hell no, I am not allowing some strange man to have access to my pictures, mail, etc. His reasoning was we have to make sure the buttons work. The guy at the front also said that there could not be a password on the phone in order for them to fix it. Got there about 15 minutes early, and the technician wasnt in. I called the day before and made an appointment for 11 AM this morning. I urge anyone who damages their phone whist on vacation in Orlando to pay Macdroid a visit. The skill of Miguel at Macdroid left me absolutely impressed. Also as my phone was the latest iPhone at the time I was surprised anyone other than Apple would have the knowledge to repair it. ![]() ![]() The cost was $100 □ this made me even happier. I didn’t loose a single photo and after the 24hr down time I had my key device back for use as my holiday camera, GPS and anything else I could ask of it. He got the phone fully working within 24hrs and all my data was safe on the device. He was extremely helpful and said although he could unlock an iPhone for me he would recommend I bought the phone in for him to take a look at it and see if he could repair it. This is how I found Macdroid, the store came up whilst searching for someone to contact to enquire about unlocking before I purchased a device. I began looking on eBay to buy a used iPhone locally (sceptical about buying a dud) and I realised I would have to get the phone unlocked before I could use my UK SIM card in it. It held my tickets, it was my GPS, it was my camera (I was worried about loosing the photos I’d already taken) it helped us pick restaurants.
